About John

John managed Retford Park in Bowral NSW for James Fairfax for over 30 years. During this time he came into contact with every aspect of the Australian art scene. Not only did John learn the art of hanging and installing all manner of artworks he also dealt with the packing and transport of works within Australia and overseas. Looking after an important collection lead to dealings with conservationists, photographers, collectors, dealers and curators. The knowledge he gathered during these years is vast and he is now available to help you with all aspects of your artwork whether it be hanging, transport or storage. John is well connected to a network of art dealers in Sydney and Melbourne and is happy to be your first point of contact in obtaining confidential market appraisals if required.
